  • Mr. Trumbull

Art // Photography // PE Teacher

    dtrumbull@unitymchs.org

Meet Mr. Trumbull, Unity’s enthusiastic photography and art teacher! He also leads our Yearbook club and Co-leads ASB.

A proud graduate from Chapman University, a former water polo player, he is here to bring the energy and excitement to every class he Ieads.

Outside the classroom, you can find him enjoying the outdoors and often submerged in a body of water. Just recently he conquered the challenge of an Ironman and twice did a prone paddle from Catalina Island. From pixels to paddle strokes, he thrives on all things related to the visual arts and loves taking the creativity not just inside the classroom but in everything he does. 📸🎨☀️

"If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader."

  • Mr. Rojas

    Mr. Rojas

    Science Teacher

    hrojas@unitymchs.org

Hey Everyone! I am Mr. Rojas, the Science Teacher, APEX Site Coordinator, and ASB Co-Director here at Unity MCHS! I have been in the education world here in Orange County for the past 5 years. I have worked with elementary students, middle school students, and highschool students. I have my Bachelors of Science in Biology/Education from UC Irvine and have teaching credentials in Biology and Chemistry with hopes of adding more! My family comes from Mexico (Sonora, Durango, Zacatecas) and worked in education, construction, and sales. My personal interests and hobbies are vast! Just to list a few, I love to go to the beach, amusement parks, fishing, playing sports, and more! However, I also love to stay indoors and watch baseball, basketball, and football (GO DODGERS/LAKERS/RAMS)! Staying indoors also 1000% means I do not mind being a couch potato every once in a while and binge watching a show. Please feel free to reach out to me - I would love to get to know the family of my students!

  • Mrs. Nora

    Math Teacher

    nelsaied@unitymchs.org

Hi! My name is Nora Elsaied and I am a math teacher at Unity Middle College High School. I teach my students Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry using McGraw Hill and Aleks as part of our curriculum.

I have been teaching for over 13 years now, having graduated from the University of Science and Education in Tanta, Egypt. I moved to the US and have been teaching here for 5 years after earning my CTC Single subject credential.

I've always had a passion for numbers ever since I was a child and fascinated with counting. I decided to pursue a career working with numbers and I love getting children and teenagers interested in math, which can be a challenging subject for many. I have developed some creative and exciting ways to engage my students and keep them interested. I am passionate about teaching mathematics and take pride in being able to teach in a simple, clear, fun, and interesting way that caters to all my students.

My certification with a clear credential to work with IEP and EL students means that I am well-equipped to help all my students reach their full potential both in math and in life. I prefer to use the "I do, We do, You do" teaching method, which has proven to be very effective with all types of students.

When I'm not teaching, I love spending time outdoors, camping with my husband, 3 kids, and friends. It's important to me to make memories through such activities.

  • Mr. Morel

    Mr. Morel

    ELD Teacher

    gmorel@unitymchs.org

I am a first-generation American. My father is from France and my mother is from Cuba. I am able to speak conversational French and I speak Spanish rather well. Along the way I helped my parents with their English, which leads me to believe that I have been an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher since I was young. I graduated from California State University, Fresno with a degree in English with the distinct honor of being named to the Dean's List three times during my course of study. I earned a Master's of English from California State University, Long Beach in English. Since graduating, I worked as an adult ESL teacher for many years before returning back to school to earn a single subject teaching credential in English from Brandman University. I have worked as an ESL teacher at the high school level, helping students prepare for the Elpac test and have been assigned to long term substitute roles in Spanish classes. I am also married to an elementary school educator, Kristin, and we have a son named Camilo. I am an avid reader who enjoys fiction and the occasional nonfiction book. I love to take long walks. I also enjoy crafting with glass bottles, making drinking glasses and planters with them. I am also a sports fan-Go Angels, Browns, and Galaxy! Go Fresno State Bulldogs and Go Beach!
