 “ Our son has attended Unity MCHS since his Freshman year and is currently a Junior.  He has benefited GREATLY from the student-to-teacher ratios, the one-on-one engagement he receives from his teachers, counselors, and other staff members, and from the close community and family environment Unity creates.  He would have struggled in a larger highschool and would not have had the same opportunity for growth, mentorship, and would not have had the same support to realize who he is as an individual.  Because of the low student-to-teacher ratios, the teachers get to know their students very well, often having the students in multiple classes over the years, and this helps them to understand the individual needs, abilities, and challenges of each student. 

Unity offers unique opportunities for their students such as their Family Class – a group of students that are put together on day one and continue as a family throughout their time at Unity.  This class allows them to have a safe place to talk, bond, and have fun together.  Their Family teacher also remains with the group over their years at Unity and becomes a mentor and a resource for help, support, and guidance.  Free access to community college classes (including books and transportation to and from the campus) allows students to be challenged, experience college classes, and become more independent. 

We cannot adequately express the gratitude that we have for what we have found at Unity MCHS and for their role in shaping and supporting our son.  Unity has had a huge impact on our son's education and his development as a student and as a person.  It is so much more than a school – it is a family and community filled with amazing, motivated, and supportive teachers and staff. “
